Write Love Letters to Your Children

Hey, friends!  I have been featured over at Raising 4 Princesses.... in a "T' Time" which means "Take the Time To...." and my subject was Write Love Letters to Your Children.  Please take a look (by clicking the highlighted words) and say "hi" to my pretty friend, Maria... and her darling 4 princesses.

Thanks, Maria, for the honor of being your guest!  You, too, are an inspiration to me, Sister!

[By the way, the Write Love Letters to Your Children idea is not original with me.  My dear friend, Felicia, inspiring mother of seven, is the one who encouraged me to start doing this a couple of years ago.  Thanks, Felicia, for encouraging me to start this!]

  1. Absolutely LOVE this idea! I read it over at Maria's blog and was very inspired. Talked to my husband about my desire to start this last night. Hope to get some notebooks and start writing soon.

Thanks for the challenge and for the wonderful example you are of a great mother.

  2. Jolene, I love this idea. Someone else shared this with me about 14 years ago when Joanna was a baby, but I procrastinated. I'm so glad you wrote about this. Went out today and bought the notebooks and am writing. I love your inspirational ideas!!! You're an awesome sister-in-law! Love ya, Mona

I am not a blogger, and I didn't know how to leave a comment. We only get internet through my husbands phone, and its different on a litte screen verses a big screen. I just wanted to let you know, I am going to start doing that. seems like your ministry is going well, hope everything is going ok. Your kids are getting so big! and they are so beautiful! Next time you come back to the states, you need to come check out our church. Our family would love to meet your family :-) Sorry I do awful at staying connected with people! Your blog is awesome! you do so well at it :-) your family is in our thoughts and prayers! Love ya, Mel :-)

I love your journal idea shared here. My first reaction was....yes!! i would love this!!

My second thought was YIKES! I have TEN children....that's a lot of journals :-)

But such a great idea. I'll have to see where I can clear out a shelf to store all these journals :-)
