Missionary Monday Button

And here is the direct link address: http://i799.photobucket.com/albums/yy273/JoleneSloan/blogbutton-1.jpg

I have been wanting to do this for awhile... to add a "button" to my Missionary Monday posts to sort of "individualize" them from all of my other posts.

I thought I would not only create a button for this blog, but make it usable for you other missionary wives as well!  So.... [drumroll, please] if you would like to use the idea of "Missionary Monday" on your own blog and use this button too, just "grab" the link below the pretty picture (or use the direct link address... I'm not sure which one you will need) and feel free to use it on your own blog.  All I ask is that you let me know you are going to start Missionary Mondays as well because I'd *love* to come for a visit!

  1. Aw, Jolene! You are so smart and creative! I wish I knew how to do things like this! It looks so nice.

I had JUST told Liz, "I haven't heard from Jolene in such a long time! The last I talked to David, they were getting ready to board a train." I was glad you had posted something!

I love you and miss you!

  2. I really enjoyed your most recent Missionary Monday post about missionary minded kids. All of your Missionary Monday posts are a blessing and I have considered starting to do that. If I do, I will definitely use your cute button. I also LOVE how you signed your name!

  3. How creative and cute! I'll definitely let you know if I start using the Missionary Monday on my blog. I've been considering it for a while... I've just been waiting for life to slow down a bit so I have time to post every Monday. I'm sure you can relate that life never does really "slow down" we just have to make time!

  4. Dear friend, as always I love to read what you write. I added your button on my side bar. I want others to be able to find it. I love the idea. Side-note: when I added it, it came up huge. I inserted the code style="WIDTH: 167px; HEIGHT: 164px"
in the formula and sized it down to match my side. Have a lovely day, Maria

  6. Dear Jolene,
I have been thinking of you daily. So glad that you are home and that you are getting settled back into your routine.
I like reading the posts on your site. Thank David for his Jerusalem post also.
I have been enjoying the children's pictures. Micah looks like he is a happy baby, growing quickly, too.
I look forward to hearing from you from time to time. I know that you are a very busy lady, so your blog is a wonderful catch-up for me.
May the Lord richly bless you and David as you serve the Lord so faithfully.
Much love to you and all,
    Vicki

  7. Dear Jolene,

Thank you so much for your email. I was not expecting a return one at all! I really enjoy your blog, especially the "Missionary Monday" posts. It so nice in this day and age to be able to show our children other mission fields with the click of a mouse! I hope to incorporate the "Missionary Monday" into our blog as time permits. Thank You!

Your Micah is so precious. They just grow up so fast, don't they?! I'm determined to cherish each and every moment with my children. Our Matti has brought such joy to our home and it is so precious to see how her older siblings love her.

Again, I really enjoy your blog and feel as though I "know you" through reading it! God Bless! Carole
