Mother's Day 2011

Make a memory with your children
Spend some time to show you care
Toys and trinkets can't replace
Those precious moments that you share.

I love you, Davey, Nate, Brianna, and Micah! It is a privilege to be your Mother. It is humbling every time I hear you call me "Mommy." I pray that I will always be the Mommy that you deserve, my sweet ones.

Today, as we walked through the mud, in the rain, down our dirt road.... my giddy little 4-year old Brianna was pointing out all of the pretty flowers... May you never be distracted by the mud and miss the flowers all around you, my sweet children!

  2. Yes, it is important to make memories. All my children are grown. One is married and one lives 1,000 miles away. I had all 4 with me yesterday! It was such a blessing. We made new memories as adults. I love your blog. It brings back memories of when my children were your childrens' ages. You have been a blessing to me.

  4. What a sweet family!!!! You are a good Mommy because you depend upon the Lord!!! That's what makes a good Mommy!!!!
We gave our Mother to Jesus on May 6th in Amarillo, TX after having her here on earth for 94 years!!! What wonderful memories I have of her faithfulness to Jesus!!! She was the epitome of FAITHFULNESS - faithful to God, to her church, to her mate, to her children!!!! I can't praise her enough! I don't know where I would be today if it had not been for her prayers for me throughout my life!!!! May the Lord enable me to carry on that spirit of faithfulness!!!! PTL for His grace which has been all sufficient as we made decisions, traveled, and suffered grief and loss!!! His promises are tried and true!!!!
