Teacher's Swap Shop

Hey, all you teachers out there!  I know that we live in an age of technology where information is at our fingertips and shelves are lined with books full of great teaching ideas.  And if that isn't enough, we can Google, Pin, Tweet, Facebook, and who knows what else to glean clever ideas from others.
However, I have a resource to share today that is time sensitive.  Sacred Literature Ministries is closing after years of providing wonderful ideas to teachers on a donation basis.  For a limited time they are offering all of their materials to be downloaded in PDF format free of charge.  I just finished downloading all of their materials and thought I would share this source {oldies, but goodies} with you too.  Some of these ideas and stories look like fun for our personal family Bible time.  I thought you might think so as well, and hope that those of you who teach will enjoy these fresh ideas too.

Hop on over to Sacred Literature Ministries to get started downloading...  And don't forget to click on the tab on the left-hand side of the page to get to some extras as well.  Enjoy!

  2. You are so amazing and I love and pray for you. Love all your info. I used Teacher's swap shop when I was in college - been a resourse I've used, well, many years - +35 years. I still have a bunch of copies that I use from time to time. This will be a blessing to so many. I still use the story about the doll that grew and have a little corn doll a friend of mine made for me to illustrate that story. Sweet

Sorry to hear about the visa issue, but what is out of our control is in His. God knows and sees the whole picture. Continue walking with the Lord day by day and keep loving your husband and loving and teaching and training those beautiful children. Enjoy David's mom and we will be praying for you as you make this transition.

  5. I am a missionary in South America and I was thinking that children here enjoy the same stories that are being told in the states. I really had my eyes opened up when we had a team come and a MK children's pastor told stories that my mom use to tell. In fact he had the same little object lesson books that my mom had. He told the story about the "Doll That Grew" and I found the link on your website. Thank you so much. I just had the opportunity to go home and found all those stories in my mom's teaching materials. You see she is in a home for the elderly and does not recognize me anymore.Praise the Lord, He opened my eyes! Thank you for posting the story about the "Doll That Grew"

  6. Would you be willing to share what you have downloaded? I did not know about this until now, and there is no web page to click on.
