Two weeks!

I have oh, so very much to write about on this blog!  Teen Camp just finished, a second VBS to write about, Nate's and hubby's birthdays, and not to mention what we're doing around the house...

But that will all have to wait.  For now, I wanted to bring you what you have all been waiting for:  news of little Joshua's health.  Today marks two weeks since the birth of this sweet preemie, and I have pictures for you to see of his progress:

Just a few more days, and Joshua will surpass the number of days of life this family was able to enjoy their little Jonathan before he went to Heaven five years ago.  I know that they are breathing a sigh of relief that God is giving Joshua to them to enjoy for, Lord-willing, a long, long time.

Thank you, Jesus, for the gift of life!

  3. PTL~ Oh, those pictures bring back so many memories of when our sweet Samuel was in the NICU those 44 days. I remember being so grateful for the amazing care we have in the USA. It was such a contrast of what we are accustomed to down here, yet I've learned no matter where we are, our lives and the lives of our precious children are truly in the hands of our Heavenly Father.

So thankful Joshua is doing so well! Praying he'll be able to be home with his family soon.

  6. Praise God! So glad to hear he is doing well. What a cutie!

I have to admit I did a double take when I saw Joshua's big brother. I wondered how one of your boys got to the States to see him! LOL The cousins certainly do look alike!

    1. Thank you so much, Jill, for taking the time to pray with us for little Joshua. And, you cracked me up about thinking his brother was one of my boys. That is totally an easy mistake since the Sloan genes run so strongly through all of the families. There are more than 30 grandkids and I don’t think ANYONE could match them all up to the right parents since they all resemble each other! LOL!
